Flow sensor for viscous foodstuffs
Article Abstract:
A low cost and reliable system is being developed by the University College Dublin to overcome the problem of real time process control in manufacture of viscous products. The main component of this system is the torqsense transducer by Sensor Technology, which monitors the constantly changing flow characteristics and visibility of the materials.

Drives and positioning software control show

The use of special version of linear positioning software enabled the storage of 64 separate positions along with individual move speeds. Prompts for all movements were stored in the drives.
