Model 2060 control valve

Article Abstract:

Collins Instrument has unveiled the Model 2060 control valve that features a PVDF or polypropylene body and a glass-filled propylene actuator or yoke. The Model 2060 can be used in the harshest and most-corrosive environments. The valve comes with a pneumatic positioner, an integral I/P positioner and an electric actuator. It can be used up to a maximum operating pressure of 300 psi at ambient temperature. The valve is available with trim sizes up to Cv-38, either in all-plastic or all-metal trim.

Poppet valves

Article Abstract:

Lexair has unveiled a new line of 2- and 3-way poppet valves for use in applications where quick positive control is required from a low pilot signal. The valves feature a large resilient poppet for bubble-tight closure, even under low-pressure conditions. Standard features include a stainless-steel body and internal parts; Viton seals; and a brass/nickel plated pilot cap. The valves have been designed with quick access to internal parts for easy maintenance.

Series 2700 balanced design pressure relief valves

Article Abstract:

Farris Engineering has unveiled the Series 2700 line of balanced design pressure relief valves for use in applications with variable backpressure where a balanced bellows design cannot be used. The Series 2700 valves attain the balance effect by isolating the upper valve chamber and eliminating any backpressure buildup in the bonnet. The valves are available in the 1/2-in, 3/4-in and 1-in inlet sizes with a 1" outlet and two orifice areas.
