Article Abstract:

Management control, uncertainty, and performance in biomedical research in universities, institutes and companies
Article Abstract:
Management control poses a significant impact on the performance of both profit and non-profit institutions. Results gathered from surveys and interviews conducted on research professionals and commercial companies revealed that the difference in performance levels is attributed to the degree of external, personnel and administrative control. Although uncertainties, do exist in industrial and applied researches, the difference between them is not as high as previously perceived.
