Pressures monitored in tight wheel spaces
Article Abstract:
A small wireless tyre sensing system, called the 'Digi Tyre DT', is developed to monitor the pressure between the outer tyre and inner lining in NASCAR racing cars, taking part in the oval circuit races. The sensor is designed to be powered by a battery whose power output should last for the length of a racing season.
