Protecting intellectual property in Russia
Article Abstract:
Foreign businesses that either market or develop technology in Russia are advised to comply with the registration formalities of the formerSoviet republic's law, if they do not want to jeopardize their patent and trademark rights. These foreign companies are likewise urged to negotiate written contracts with all their Russian personnel regarding intellectual property rights and trade secrets.
