Quality Progress' 1998 salary survey
Article Abstract:
The 1998 salary survey was conducted to examine part-time regular employment. The study was done in two parts, namely, that which covered the regular employees and that which covered self-employed consultants. Data gathering was done from Apr to May 1998 with salary survey packets mailed to 9,000 American Society for Quality members. Results indicate that 51.7% of self-employed consultants did part time work while only 0.5% of regular employees did part time work.
