Quality professionals stand the test: despite the weak economy, practitioners in some job functions even saw large salary increases

Most quality professionals have received salary rises despite the economic downturn, according to the 2001 Quality Progress Salary Survey of quality professionals in the US and Canada. In the US, the largest salary rise, at 17.4%, was achieved by software quality engineers.
