Selecting elbows for pneumatic conveying systems
Article Abstract:
There are many types of elbows (also known as bends or sweeps) for pneumatic conveying lines, such as standard types, spherical-chamber elbows, and gamma bends. The product to be conveyed and the pneumatic conveying system affect the process of selecting the right elbow. The advantages, disadvantages and recommended applications of different types of elbows are given.
