The 2 + 2 enhancement process
Article Abstract:
The business and education partnership called 2 + 2 enhancement process was developed in Ohio primarily to establish a quality assurance curricula among local collegiate schools. The effort was led by Bowling Green State University (BGSU) in partnership with six two-year colleges and five companies. The effort began in 1994 with four goals considered and recommendations to enhance the Applied Quality Science option of BGSU's Manufacturing Technology Program. The process served as a benchmark for other industry-academia partnerships.

Article Abstract:
Education in the US should prioritize subjects such as technology, science, math and quality to foster the country's industrial competitiveness. Survival in the business world also necessitates firm decision-making. Statistical process control assists (SPC) in the decision process by giving empirical information. The 'Partnership for Quality Through Statistical Process Control: Technology-Based Mathematics and Science Applications' has been formed to ensure that students learn about technology, quality and SPC.

Reengineering church at the local level
Article Abstract:
Reengineering principles implemented by the Trinity United Methodist Church such as organizational restructuring, reformulation of the church's goals and improved customer service proved to be fruitful. Having work teams at all levels in charge of decision-making and budget control as well as group ministries which catered to member needs streamlined the church's operations. Organizing a monthly reform agenda wherein to evaluate and plan for the needs of all involved ascertains lasting change.
