The measure of the microscope
Article Abstract:
Inspection processes in industrial concerns have benefited greatly from the integration of computer and video microscope technology. Unlike older inspection systems, video microscopes linked to personal computers with measuring software can generate accurate, real time video images which can be used to examine surface properties, critical dimensions or part geometry. These and other features all contribute to the creation of a highly productive and cost effective work environment.
