Viking introduces motor-speed pump

Article Abstract:

Viking Pump Inc of Cedar Falls, IA, has launched its Viking 4076 metric pump which is specifically designed for high-speed operations. The 4076 series is available in six sizes ranging from 4.0 sq m/hr to 45.6 sq m/hr. The pumps accept a variety of seals to readily customize its application for chemical processors, grain processors, rotating equipment OEMs, petroleum products and other applications.

This demand is emphasized in the chemical process industries, as companies seek pumps that deliver desired flow and head with minimal or no process delay. Industry organizations active in the search for global standards are the Hydraulic Institute and Europump.
