When worlds collide: lean and Six Sigma
Article Abstract:
The application of the Six Sigma and lean tools for a particular problem to improve the performance of an organization is discussed. The two methodologies Six Sigma's define, measure, analyze, improve, control (DMAIC) and define, measure, analyze, design, verify (DMADV), which are applied to improve existing process and designing new ones respectively are studied.
