Baltic sea hazardous substances management: results and challenges
Article Abstract:
Past actions on hazardous substances that have had a positive effect on improving Baltic environmental quality and reducing human health risks are revealed. Helsinki Commission's (HELCOM) past efforts on hazardous substances are examined and future challenges regarding their management are discussed.
