Changing levels of predation on benthos as a result of exploitation of fish populations

Article Abstract:

Benthos populations of cod, whiting and haddock in the North Sea have declined since 1970, primarily due to commercial fishing. Fish predators are also increasing their consumption on lowered benthos populations, and these changes will probably continue to affect this ecosystem.
