Vertebrate dispersal of seed plants through time
Article Abstract:
Various lines of evidence for vertebrate dispersal of plant disseminules through time and scenarios have been reviewed for its origin, together with a summation of this evidence from the Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic. A consideration of outstanding patterns and future possible directions of inquiry have been included.

Scale strength as a cost of rapid growth in sunfish
Article Abstract:
Comparisons among pumpkinseed sunfishes reveal a negative correlation between rapid growth and fish scale strength. Implications of this trade-off, such as swimming efficiency and/or surviving predation attempts, are also discussed.
