Addressing aggregation bias in zonal recreation models
Article Abstract:
A zonal model of recreation that captures some of the underlying heterogeneity of individual visitors by including information on per-capita income from census sources into the aggregate demand function, are proposed. This reduces the risk of aggregation bias in estimated parameters.

Accounting for stochastic shadow values of time in discrete-choice recreation demand models
Article Abstract:
A discrete-choice model recreation demand model that explicitly accounts for a stochastic shadow value of time function by using the data from survey beach users in San Diego is presented.
