All hands to the pumps as College comes to rescue of flood victims
Article Abstract:
Fire officers from many different fire services who are based at the Fire Service College were called into action during the massive flood that hit the UK in July 2007. The efforts of the firefighters during the rescue operations and the assistance given by the evacuees to one another are described.
