Coming to grips with on-site wastewater treatment

Article Abstract:

The increasing use of the Septic systems, and the fact that environmental protection administration now regards them as permanent features of the wastewater infrastructure is described. The states are now starting to revise the way they regulate wastewater disposal for on-site system and new business opportunities are opening for more effective treatment options.

Wastewater recycling advances

Article Abstract:

Some water recycling programs to prevent severe crises that serve public needs for many different purposes, initiated by some of the cities like California and Florida are discussed. These programs can provide a cost-effective alternative for uses, that do not demand high quality drinking water, such as landscape irrigation, toilet flushing etc.
