Unfulfilled potential
Article Abstract:
Acceptance of automobile recycled parts by consumers, insurers and automobile body shops continues to increase. It is estimated that recycled parts currently account for 12%-15% of the market. These are the ecological importance of reuse and recycling, the consolidation in the automobile recycling industry and the comparatively high cost of original equipment manufacturer components.
