Compost key in gravel pit reclamation
Article Abstract:
An overview is presented on the use of campus-generated feedstocks in Purdue University's composting processes. The compost, a component of the school's revegetation and land management program, will be used to reclaim a gravel and sand quarry adjacent to the campus.

Measuring compost impact on turf growth

A compost use demonstration, which was conducted by the New Hampshire Compost Association in Concord, is explained. Good quantity compost improves turf growth as compared to the typical turf management currently employed.
