Compost tea in Central Park: An update

Article Abstract:

The Central Park Conservancy is benefiting from a tea composting program. The Park's North Meadow and Conservatory Garden are being treated with tea as an organic fertilizer. The Conservancy views the compost tea project as part of a larger program that includes daily disease and insect scouting, ongoing training for staff and plant nutrient monitoring.

California vineyard finds large role for compost

Article Abstract:

California's Napa Valley has focused on the obvious benefits of compost tea, as it is one of the standard vineyard tools and is proved to be beneficial to agriculture. Two primary reasons for using compost tea are that the biological by-products get directly applied and it is an aid in disease management, too.
