Farwick Hurricane screener

Article Abstract:

Farwick offers the Hurricane, a secondary screening unit that uses a combination of vibration, pressure fans and suction to eliminate contaminants such as film plastic, foil and paper from compost and soils. It can also be equipped with a head pulley magnet to remove ferrous metals and a stone trap conveyor to remove stones and other heavy materials. The Hurricane, which has a throughput of 55 cubic yards per hour, can be transported without permits.

Bobcat compact excavator

Article Abstract:

Bobcat's 322 D-Series compact excavator was designed to accomplish several tasks at job sites with limited space available. Its undercarriage can rectract and expand, from 53 inches to 39 inches, to fit through narrower openings. In addition, the excavator has a simplified hydraulic circuit with improved hydraulic line routing that is capable of creating a bucker breakout force of more than 3,400 pounds.

Industry analysts said that companies produced 136 million tons of building-related C&D products in 1996. The Construction Materials Recycling Association now estimates that an annual level of 300 million tons to 350 million tons are produced in the U.S.
