One of the new techniques being done is to convert tire into mulching materials as in the case of Rubberific Mulch from Green Edge Enterprises of St. Louis, MO. The rubber mulch is touted to be capable of lasting from eight to 10 years, a vast improvement from wood mulch that has a life span of a single year.
