Boston Bark Corporation, a Waltham, Massachusetts-based provider of high quality landscape materials and masonry products, and reseller of bark products, purchased colorants from T.H. Glennon Co. to sell colored mulch. The company makes two types of mulch using pine bark, its processed brush and a small amount of compost.

The supply of recycled pallets has been reduced after the demand for colored mulch has increased, as a result of which other recycled woods are being processed. Many innovations like the portable grind/colorize unit and a trommel mixing system, are being offered to wood recyclers, arborists and pallet manufacturers.
