Not in ship shape

Article Abstract:

The lack of available ship space to destinations in China and other countries of Asia are seriously hampering the export of nonferrous scrap from the US. Some of the blame for the lack of space has been heaped on changing Chinese customs laws on scrap that has forced shippers to back away from loading scrap in favor of other merchandise. The development has caused a backlog of nonferrous scrap at a number of US ports.
