Ontario regions invest in residential organics diversion
Article Abstract:
An organic recycling program has been started in residential areas of Ontario under which residents have been provided with bins for kitchen waste and soiled paper at curbside to be collected weekly. The aim is to increase diversion of waste disposal from 45 percent in 2007 to 70 percent in 2016.
