Article Abstract:

An evaluation of the Regualtory reform Order on fire safety is presented. The order has widen the scope of enforcement, and to mitgate the effects of this change, a training program called the Risk Assesment Methodology Courses, was developed. Ways of engaging the minority businesses in fire prevention are also presented.

A focus Fire and Rescue Safety Act 2004 and Regulatory Reform Order 2006 legislations in the United Kingdom is presented. These regulations are aimed for increasing fire safety in taller residential buildings.
