Valves prevent water shortage
Article Abstract:
Hydra-Stop valves were used to effect a relocation of a main water supply line in Detroit, MI. The 42-in concrete water line had to be diverted and a new supply line that is over two miles long built in order to proceed with the construction of a major highway in the vicinity. Hydra-Stop valves were used because of the need to do the relocation without the discontinuation of water supply services to the major manufacturing facilities that are heavily dependent on the main water line for their needs.
