West Midlands Arson Task Force - reducing fire settin year on year
Article Abstract:
The intiatives of the West Midlands Arson Task Force (WMATF), a partnership between the West Midlands Police and the Fire Service, are presented. WMATF lowers the number of arson cases through projects such as the 'Keep Your Business in Business', which aims to promote crime prevention and risk reduction among small and medium sized companies. Details of the WMATF's operations are provided.

Families pay tribute to their heroes
Article Abstract:
Four firefighters of the Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Sevice Ashley Stephens, Darren Yates-Badley, ian Reid and John Averis have died in the line of duty in November 2007. Their families and over 200 emergencey service employees gave a minute's silence in respect of their honorable death. The firefighters' contribution to the community are appreciated.
