A stock-fund riddle
Article Abstract:
Potential investors often are puzzled about choosing between mutual funds or individual stocks. The disadvantages of using professionally managed mutual funds are discussed. Selecting individual stocks may be cheaper, and winners easier to pick. A mixture of the two methods is suggested.

High-yield bonds, more popularly called as junk bonds, have evolved as the leading fixed-income investment in the country due to its renewed quality and favorable long term returns. The term "junk" was associated with the bond after it suffered a major collapse in 1980s.
