The most successful magazines are those which show integrity and intelligence and independence of spirit, according to Nick Logan. He was responsible for giving NME a key position in the 1970s, and pioneered the modern music magazine as launch editor of Smash Hits. He was also involved with The Face and Arena. He is now planning to launch a magazine aimed at women aged 25-35 in Sep 1997. This will have a target circulation of 100,000-120,000 in the first year.

The digital recording system is made easy, and efficient to transcribe, and there are various ways of recording a telephone interview in a computer having a voice modem by phone recording software such as the call coder, smart phone recorder and telephone card. Thus the purpose of switching to digital recording is that it saves time and prevents the burden of carrying boxes of tapes, and long hours of interview can be saved in few minutes recording.
