Elian's policy legacy
Article Abstract:
The policy implications of the removal of Elian Gonzalez from the US to his father in Cuba are discussed. The views of US politicians on the 1966 Cuban Adjustment Act, and their reasons for either supporting or opposing the acceptance of Cuban refugees, are examined.
