Forts of the Chitral campaign of 1895
Article Abstract:
Chitral is part of the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan, but in 1895 was a separate state owing allegiance to Kashmir. The forts involved in the Chitral campaign of 1895 were similar to medieval castles and were sited in important valleys. Forts were usually roughly rectangle with a tower at each corner. The Chitral Fort was ill-prepared for the siege and the simple main gate had to be barricaded.

Ghosts of the lakes
Article Abstract:
Great Lakes, comprising of five lakes in central North America has experienced disaster since 1697 claiming number of human lives due to sinking of ships by early 1990s. Several ship sinkings resulted from on-board fires or collisions in the crowded shipping lanes of late 1800s and early 1900s.
