Article Abstract:
It is important to be able to see through the many myths surrounding the conflict in Kashmir, according to PhD researcher Alexander Evans. The Kashmir problem has become extremely complex, with some of the current problems being attributable to regional leaders themselves. Political violence since the late 1980s has not forced any significant concessions from the government in New Dehli, India, and has merely served to seriously damage economy and society in Kashmir.
