Intel's AnyPoint system permits computers to communicate with each other without rewiring. It provides connections between two or more computers using a single telephone line. The basic component is an external unit priced at $99 for one, and $189 for two. It plugs into the PC's parallel port. An add-in card version is available at $79.

Networking in a fast-growing city

California and Texas are leading in terms of fast-growing Hispanic populations between 1980 and 1995. Leading cities include Dallas, Orange County, Houston and San Diego. Hispanic population also increased in Phoenix-Mesa and Miami, FL.
