Top Hispanic-American executives from across the US used the 1996 Hispanic Business Magazine Roundtable as a public forum to debate issues concerning affirmative action, national deficit, and taxes. A summary of the debates and the general consensus reached, are presented.

Almost four out of every 10 owners of Hispanic businesses are younger than 40 years. Thus, it is estimated that Hispanics 40 years old and below own some 248,000 US businesses. Thirty-four of these young Hispanic CEOs are profiled.
