'Hispanic Business' magazine celebrates its 25 years of success and analyzes the way in which the civil rights movement gave rise to the US Hispanic economy. While the end of the 1970s witnessed a Hispanic constituency eager to claim their place in the US economy, the 1980s witnessed tremendous growth for the Hispanics and the Hispanic Business magazine.

Building a safer pipeline

Article Abstract:

Hispanic trucking and shipping firms, particularly those involved in foreign trade or federal contracting, are facing a big challenge of increasing security for their customers, which would result in increasing costs. Hence, the government has formed a plan asking the firms to take concrete steps to tighten security along the entire supply chain.
