Only 13 companies were ranked among both the 100 fast-growing Hispanic-owned companies and the 50 Hispanic-owned high-tech firms. An important trait shared by 11 of the 13 is that they all provide services to the federal government. Includes profiles of CEOs from some of the 13 super companies.

The corporate elite

Statistics on Hispanic American executives in Fortune 1000 companies are presented. The average age of these executives is 48, with men outnumbering women seven to one. Almost 60% of them have advanced degrees, and many come from Harvard, Northwester University and the University of Miami.
