Adolescent satisfaction with school-based mental health services
Article Abstract:
Issues regarding adolescent satisfaction with school-based mental health programs are discussed. A sample of adolescents, primarily minority youth residing in an urban area, completed satisfaction surveys, and results indicated them to be highly satisfied with their mental health services. Aspects of the services they valued are listed.

The relationship between family factors and adolescent substance use in rural, suburban, and urban settings
Article Abstract:
Family sanctions and parent communication are significant factors in teenage substance abuse, regardless of demographic factors. Lowest abuse rates were seen when families were involved in schools and spoke about the dangers of drugs, and when teenagers believed their parents cared for them.
