Can too much iron kill you?
Article Abstract:
An abnormally high concentration of iron in the blood may be a symptom of hereditary hemachromatosis. The condition causes the intestines to take in more iron which accumulate in the organs and ruptures surrounding tissues. It causes arthritis, diabetes, impotence, cirrhosis and heart disease.
