Financial tradeoffs may allow many more two-income families to change to having only one parent working. Some lifestyle changes may need to be made. Steps to help decide if staying home full-time is the right financial choice includes comparing the that the income and expenses would be if there was only one parent working against the total earning and expenditures. Adjustments should be made for work-related expenses.
