Thirteen family and personal areas were delineated and tips offered on how a busy woman could effectively organize them. The tips were garnered from 11 busy women. Some of the areas discussed were child management, family recreation, kitchen and meals, and time management.

Children should be taught good manners between six months to two years of age starting with saying please and thank you. More advanced skills such as saying excuse me, shaking hands and telephone manners can then be taught from the age of three.
