"I want to go home!"

Parents can resort to certain means to ease the homesickness experienced by their children who are staying with relatives or those who are in summer camps. For example, keepsakes such as a picture of the whole family or a favorite stuffed animal would make children feel that they are back home.

The gender divide

Article Abstract:

Children's awareness of their gender is usually developed between the ages of two and three. When they have figured out their gender, they should be gently guided by parents to note differences between girls and boys. Parents should also serve as role models to influence their children.
