Ovarian cancer is usually asymptomatic until it is terminal. Regular check-ups, low fat diets, breast feeding, and having children before 35 are all ways of reducing the risk of ovarian cancer. Taxol is a drug that has been found to be effective in the treatment of ovarian cancer.
