Children eight to 12 years old have numerous fears, ranging from car crashes or a burglary in their house. In a recent study, it was found that nearly 70% worry at an average of two to three days a week over such things as grades, social lives and health and dying. Parents can help children deal with their fears by talking about their fears and exercising patience and optimism.
