Harriette McAdoo discusses about his paternal family, maternal family, his early days of childhood, and his marriage. He considers the period of Ann Arbor in the 1960s as a very important phase where he made friends that remained dear to him throughout their lives. He also examines the variables of racial attitude and self- concept in Michigan.
