Childhood obesity is a growing problem in the US as proven by how almost 14% of all American children six to 11 years of age are considered overweight. Since obesity boosts one's vulnerability to a host of ailments, it is vital for parents to help their obese children lose weight through increased physical activity, healthier snacking habits and more balanced meals.
