The French anthropologist, Michel Peissel, who led 25 expeditions into remote regions of Tibet, discusses about Tibet's culture, monasteries and Tibetan architecture. He explains that the monasteries were originally universities or abandoned fortresses, and their architecture was based on Indian style, and blacksmiths in Tibet are producing in 2006, the ancient Scythian art from 700 B.C.
