Article Abstract:

As part of a traveling exhibition around 200 works, including photographs of his days in Tahiti, paintings, temple carvings and artifacts of the celebrated artist, Paul Gauguin will be on display at the Grand Palais in Paris. The artist who fled, what he called decadent Europe found solace in Tahiti where he took two years painting his more than twelve feet long canvas which seems to be a collage of all art forms.
