Article Abstract:
A public relations campaign to promote public awareness of problems related to the misuse of alcoholic beverages is highlighted. The campaign's requirements were to make New Zealand aware of related cost, offer alternatives for lowering these costs and to stress moderation. Campaign objectives are summarized. The campaign proposal is outlined. Implementation procedures are reviewed. The program is evaluated.

The slow-walk issue: getting up to speed on politicians who march to the beat of different dialects

The same term can mean different things when used in the vernacular. 'Slow-walk' as used by a Tennessee Senator and others, means 'to delay,' but as used by a South Carolina woman, it means to punish. The meanings for 'issue' ranges from 'the central point' of a situation to 'a deep problem.'
